Amy's Brunch to Support Amy Jardine Memorial Fund

In support of the Amy Jardine Memorial Fund, Amy’s Brunch will be held on Sunday, September 29 from 10:00am until 2:00pm at the Father AA McKinnon Memorial Hall, 105 Main Street in Blackville.

Brunch is $7 and includes ham, sausages, scrambled eggs, beans, potato casserole and pancakes. Children under six years of age eat free.

All proceeds go to Amy’s memorial fund, which awards three $500 scholarships to graduates of Blackville High School each year. $50 is also donated to every local fundraiser held in the community.

Please come out and show your support and pay tribute to Amy. “The more we get, the more we give.”

This event is sponsored by St. Raphael’s Catholic Women’s League.

The village of Blackville is governed by an elected council made up of a mayor and four councillors. Incorporated as a village in 1966, Blackville has a population of 958 and has had a long history related to forestry and salmon fishing.

    Amy did so much for our community. The Amy Jardine Memorial Fund is a fitting tribute to his legacy.

    Thanks so much, Les. We, the family, are determined to keep his legacy alive. He was always sensitive to the hardships that people endured and always determined to help through music. He always said, “I didn’t do it alone”. And strangely enough we are now saying the same thing, sooooo are hoping that many will support our efforts. Tx
