BHS Student Council Hosting 1st Annual Color Run

The Blackville High School Student Council will be hosting their 1st Annual Color Run on Saturday, June 2. This event is open to everyone.

The run/walk will be 5 km and registration is $15 and can be paid on the day of the event. Deadline for t-shirt purchase has passed. Registration forms are available at the school office or can be sent home with students.

Each participant will receive a certificate, a bottle of water, and a packet of paint.

Start time for the run will be 10:30am at the school. There will be a cash BBQ following the run.

A great event for the entire family.

All proceeds go towards the Josie Foundation and the Student Council Leadership Conference Fund.

Village of Blackville

The village of Blackville is governed by an elected council made up of a mayor and four councillors. Incorporated as a village in 1966, Blackville has a population of 958 and has had a long history related to forestry and salmon fishing.
