Blackville Home & School Movie Night and Bullying Awareness

Movie Night: Moana

The Blackville Home and School is hosting a Movie Night for Grades K-2 on Thursday, February 1 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the school.

Admission is $5 and includes the movie (Disney’s Moana), popcorn and juice.

Come on out and support your Home and School and enjoy a movie with friends.

Bully Awareness T-Shirts

The Home and School held a “Let’s Stop Bullying” awareness logo contest. The winner was Hayden Underhill. T-shirts will be ordered featuring the winning design.

The price is $12 and sizes available are:
Youth – XS, S, M, L, XXL
Adult – S, M, L, XL, XXL

Anyone wishing to order a t-shirt can send their order, with money enclosed, back to the school by Friday, February 2. Please show your support and stand up against bullying.

The next meeting of Home and School is February 22 in the school cafeteria.

The village of Blackville is governed by an elected council made up of a mayor and four councillors. Incorporated as a village in 1966, Blackville has a population of 958 and has had a long history related to forestry and salmon fishing.
