Blackville Wellness Hosts Music in the Park with Chloe and Amber

The Blackville Mango Health & Wellness committee kicked off their summer music series “Music in the Park” on Wednesday, July 24. More than seventy people were in attendance with Chloe Furlong and Amber Walls providing entertainment for the evening. The two performed twenty songs over ninety minutes.

Both singers provided their own instrumentation. Chloe Furlong, daughter of Allan and Jennifer Furlong, played guitar, while Amber Walls, daughter of Kendall and Rachael Walls played guitar and ukulele.

A 50/50 draw was held with $70 going to the winner Cathy Adams, and $70 going towards the health and wellness committee. The committee hosts a variety of free events throughout the year as well as sponsoring Blackville School’s Chef’s Program.

Music in the Park takes place every Wednesday evening at 7:00pm. Performers for July 31 are Jayda MacDonald and Alicia Marie. Admission is free. View video and photos below. Click an image to enlarge.

    The two girls did a great job. They sounded fantastic!!! Good crowd for the first night
