Celebrate Canada Day at Blackville Fireworks

UPDATE (June 29): After further discussion, a decision has been made to put the fireworks back on. 10pm Tuesday, June 30 from the Blackville Park. All previous information below applies.

Canada Day Fireworks will take place on June 30 at dusk (10:00 pm) at the Blackville Municipal Park.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the park will be closed off to the public and there will not be any entertainment or a bbq this year. 

Please view the fireworks from the bridge or along road and respect the social distancing regulations

Since there is no parade this year, we are encouraging all businesses and homeowners to decorate their property and show their Canadian Pride!  Prizes will be awarded for best decorated!

The village of Blackville is governed by an elected council made up of a mayor and four councillors. Incorporated as a village in 1966, Blackville has a population of 958 and has had a long history related to forestry and salmon fishing.
