Communities Come Together for Healing Vigil

On Monday, July 16, more than 450 people came together at the Blackville Municipal Park to remember those they’ve lost through tragedy. Over the past year, the Blackville community and surrounding areas have lost five people in tragic deaths.

Southwest Miramichi – Bay du Vin MLA Jake Stewart and Blackville mayor Chris Hennessy helped organize and coordinate the event, along with Blackville Fire Department, first responders and volunteers from around the region.
