Donation to Blackville Minor Baseball in Memory of Terence Vickers

A donation of $350 was presented to Blackville Minor Baseball this evening, Monday, July 30 in memory of Terence Vickers.  Terence, the son of the late Dale and Jacqueline Vickers, passed away accidentally on January 12, 2018 in Alberta.

Some of Terence’s friends wanted to do something locally to honour him, and since Terence always had a love of the sport, organizers presented a donation to Blackville Minor Baseball. A plaque was also donated and will be displayed at the Blackville Rink.

In attendance for the presentation were coaches Matthew Curtis and Conrad Manderville, organizers Terrilee Donahue and Sheri Dunn, Blackville Recreation Council president and deputy mayor Ian Fortune and members of the mosquito team.

Terence, brother to Faith Harold and Chris Vickers, was a graduate of Blackville School Class of 1995.
