Four new cases of COVID-19 (Fredericton Region)

FREDERICTON (GNB) – Public Heath reported four new cases of COVID-19 today.

The four cases in Zone 3 (Fredericton region) are as follows:

  • One individual under 19; and       
  • three people 20-29.

All four cases are self-isolating and under investigation.

The number of confirmed cases in New Brunswick is 481and 363 have recovered. There have been seven deaths, and the number of active cases is 111 with none in the hospital. As of today, 122,941 tests have been conducted.

The village of Blackville is governed by an elected council made up of a mayor and four councillors. Incorporated as a village in 1966, Blackville has a population of 958 and has had a long history related to forestry and salmon fishing.
