Are your kids ready for school? Big Brothers Big Sisters / Boys and Girls Club of Miramichi is offering free backpacks for children in Grades 1 to 8 at Blackville School.

A limited number of backpacks are available and consists of basic school supplies.

If your combined household income is below $30,000, call Big Brothers Big Sisters at 778-2444 about a BackPack for your child.

Village of Blackville

The village of Blackville is governed by an elected council made up of a mayor and four councillors. Incorporated as a village in 1966, Blackville has a population of 958 and has had a long history related to forestry and salmon fishing.
