Hands over keys
The Blackville Firemen’s Club recently donated a new vehicle to the Blackville Village Council. The keys to the new vehicle were turned over to Fire Chief Fred Kennedy by Mayor Roland Walls in a recently held ceremony. Shown in the photo left to right are: Councillor Monica Donahue, chairman of the fire committee, Mayor Walls, Fire Chief Kennedy and Floyd Underhill, deputy fire chief and president of the Firemen’s Club.

Village of Blackville

The village of Blackville is governed by an elected council made up of a mayor and four councillors. Incorporated as a village in 1966, Blackville has a population of 958 and has had a long history related to forestry and salmon fishing.

    Do you have any old pictures of the Blackville men’s hockey team from the late 60’s early 70’s my brother Guy Savage he was their goal tender?
