Marion Donohue Retirement Open House

After twenty six years as Postmaster at Blackville Post Office, and many years before working within the postal service, Marion Donohue has retired.

To celebrate her retirement, there will be an open house retirement party on Saturday, May 5 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm at the Father AA McKinnon Memorial Hall, 105 Main Street in Blackville.

The village of Blackville is governed by an elected council made up of a mayor and four councillors. Incorporated as a village in 1966, Blackville has a population of 958 and has had a long history related to forestry and salmon fishing.
