One New Case of COVID-19 (Fredericton Region)

Public Health reported one new case of COVID-19 today.

The new case is an individual between 40-49 in Zone 3 (Fredericton Region). The case is related to travel and the individual is self-isolating. Public Health says the new case is not linked to previous cases in the province.

The number of active cases in N.B. is nine. Five of those are in the Moncton region, three are in the Fredericton region and there is one active case in the Bathurst region.

The village of Blackville is governed by an elected council made up of a mayor and four councillors. Incorporated as a village in 1966, Blackville has a population of 958 and has had a long history related to forestry and salmon fishing.
