UPDATE: The contractor has delayed the concrete pour at Renous River No.1 until Thursday September 29, 2016. The roadway will be shut down at 3:00 am for the 48 hour closure. A signed detour will be in place via Route 118 Gray/White Rapids. As always this date is Weather Depending.

The Renous River Bridge No. 1, on Route 8 in Renous, will be closed to all traffic beginning at 3 a.m. on Thursday, September 29, and continuing until 3 a.m. on Saturday, October 1.

This temporary closure will allow for concrete placement and curing as part of repairs to the bridge. The pour will be dependent on the weather.

Detour signs will be posted. The detour route is through Route 118 (Gray Rapids and White Rapids).

The department apologizes for the inconvenience and encourages motorists to drive safely in construction zones.
