Notice: Canadian Pride Contest Cancelled

UPDATE: JUNE 25 – In light of the recent discoveries of unmarked graves at sites of former residential schools, the village of Blackville has decided to cancel all Canada Day celebrations this year in solidarity with other communities across the country.

While no Canada Day parade is planned for Blackville this year (due to COVID-19 regulations) the village is encouraging homeowners and businesses to decorate their properties to show their Canadian pride.

Prizes will be awarded for best decorated.

If you plan to decorate your home or business and enter the “Canadian Pride Contest”, please call the village office at 843-6337 to register.

Canada Day fireworks will take place on Wednesday, June 30 at dusk. Click here for more information.
