Two new cases of COVID-19

FREDERICTON (GNB) – Public Health reported two new cases of COVID-19 today.

The cases are two people 60 to 69 in Zone 3 (Fredericton region). Both cases are self-isolating and under investigation.

The number of confirmed cases in New Brunswick is 557 and 484 have recovered. There have been eight deaths, and the number of active cases is 65 with three cases currently in the hospital, including two in intensive care. As of today, 139,374 tests have been conducted.

The village of Blackville is governed by an elected council made up of a mayor and four councillors. Incorporated as a village in 1966, Blackville has a population of 958 and has had a long history related to forestry and salmon fishing.
