Village of Blackville Hosting FREE Used Book Fair

The village of Blackville is hosting a FREE Used Book Fair at the Blackville Community Centre, 12 South Bartholomew Road, from Monday, June 10 to Friday, June 14 from 9:00am until 12:00pm each day. The book fair will also be open on Saturday, June 15 from 9:30am until 12:30pm.

More than forty boxes of books, including children’s literature, novels, full sets of encyclopedia’s, science and technology books and magazines, were donated by the Blackville School library.

If you plan to attend during the week, please stop by the municipal office (first door on the left) to be directed to the book fair. All books are FREE.

The village of Blackville is governed by an elected council made up of a mayor and four councillors. Incorporated as a village in 1966, Blackville has a population of 958 and has had a long history related to forestry and salmon fishing.
